These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the repair, diagnostics, technical support, and related services ("Services") provided by Dollar Media Technology Limited, a Hong Kong registered company doing business as Bibchintz Service Center ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
By submitting a service request, shipping a device to us, or otherwise engaging our Services, you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
Bibchintz Service Center provides hardware device repair, firmware recovery, device diagnostics, Ledger Live setup and configuration assistance, device migration support, security auditing, and related technical support services. The specific scope, pricing, and timeline for each engagement will be communicated to you in a diagnostic report or service quote prior to work being performed.
Our standard service process operates as follows:
We will not perform any repair work beyond the scope of the approved quote without obtaining your prior consent. If additional issues are discovered during the repair process, we will contact you with a revised estimate before proceeding.
Service pricing is provided in your diagnostic quote prior to any work being performed. All prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars (USD). Payment is due upon completion of services and prior to return shipment of your device. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payment methods.
Diagnostic fees are non-refundable, as the diagnostic assessment is a completed service regardless of whether you choose to proceed with further repairs.
All repairs performed by Bibchintz Service Center carry a 90-day limited warranty from the date of return shipment. This warranty covers the specific issue that was repaired. If the same problem recurs within the warranty period, we will re-repair the device at no additional cost.
This warranty does not cover:
You are responsible for securely packaging and shipping your device to our service center. We recommend using the prepaid, insured shipping label we provide. Risk of loss during inbound shipment remains with you until we confirm receipt of the device.
For return shipment, we use insured carriers. Risk of loss during return shipment transfers to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not liable for delays, damage, or loss caused by the shipping carrier.
We take the security of your device seriously. Our technicians follow strict handling protocols and chain-of-custody procedures. We do not access, copy, store, or transmit any personal data from your device during the repair process.
However, certain repairs (such as firmware recovery) may require a device reset, which could result in the loss of locally stored configurations. We will inform you of this possibility before proceeding and advise you to back up any important information prior to shipping your device.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DOLLAR MEDIA TECHNOLOGY LIMITED AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS 90-DAY REPAIR WARRANTY DESCRIBED IN SECTION 4, OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee that any repair will be successful. Some devices may be damaged beyond repair. In such cases, we will inform you of our findings and return your device. Only the diagnostic fee will apply.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dollar Media Technology Limited and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms or your use of our Services.
If you fail to respond to our communications regarding your device for a period of sixty (60) days after we have completed our diagnostic assessment or repair, your device will be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to dispose of abandoned devices in accordance with applicable Hong Kong law. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before taking such action.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our Services after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong SAR.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with any service quotes or diagnostic reports provided to you, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dollar Media Technology Limited with respect to the Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
